Left to tie your own bow tie on the Big Day? YouTube just not helping? Check this out –practice makes perfect!
Step One – Start with the bowtie lying with the fancy side up. Adjust so right side is shorter than the left. The left end is A and the end on the right, we’ll call B.
Step Two – Move A to the right side, across B.
Step Three – Bring A under B and up through the neck loop.
Step Four – At the joint, fold B towards the right and then towards the left to create the bow shape.
Step Five – Bring A straight down over the middle of the bow shape that was made with B.
Step Six – Fold A back towards the chest and pinch the fold.
Step Seven – Push the pinched end (A) through the loop behind B.
Step Eight – Pull on the folded parts of the bow to tighten. Adjust until suave.
