10 Veils fit for a Princess

The Royal Wedding has left us all in a stir this week, the remarkable thing for me was that the outfits did not outshine the bride or the wedding!  Meghan looked absolutely stunning – fact, but the whole look just seemed to amplify the emotion of the day, it was a wedding about two people getting married!  The veil itself is in my opinion worthy of as much discussion as the dress – just remember the moment Harry lifted the veil! 5 mtrs of silk tulle embellished with floral designs from each of the commonwealth countries and carried beautifully by her two page boys.

If you want to add a stunning veil to your look, there is still time we have rounded up our favourite designs – enjoy!

Traditional Veils

The veil is possibly the oldest part of the wedding ensemble said to depict the maiden’s purity; wrapped up to represent the delivery of a modest and untouched maiden.  Did you know that Queen Victoria was the first royal to wear a long flowing veil and therein the image of the modern day bride was cast.
