Bridesmaids at Vintage at No.18

Its no secret that we have fabulous creative businesses in the North and our Little White Book is showcasing some stella companies right now! Today we are featuring a styled shoot at Lane 7  with our friends at Vintage No.18 at the helm; a delightful Wedding Dress boutique based in Newcastle.

Already well known for their original and Vintage styled Wedding Gowns; the team have expanded their collection to help you sort your girls out – making sure you have suitably stylish bridesmaids as quirky and original as you.  I have to say hallelujah – independent brands like Vintage No.18 are the people you need to see to get some cool individuality and something special, these gowns are timeless and a fab addition to your wardrobe.  All handmade in the Northeast – music to my ears!

We love this yellow silk gown with the tulle petticoat, such a flattering style we can imagine this in many different colours!!

The inspiration behind the shoot was to portray that not all brides are after the same kind of bridesmaid dress and of course to show off our new collection.

We are mainly designing and creating vintage inspired dresses, the 50’s bowling alley really helps reflect the 50’s styling.  The location also shows brides that they can do things their way and a little bit different or alternative when it comes to their wedding day.

We wanted to show that these could be made in a number of different styles and colours (obviously the bride can have anything they want).

We accessorized them with funky coloured shoes and gorgeous flowers to give brides an idea of what their bridesmaids could look like on their special day.

Being able to design their own dresses whether it be style, shape or size means that all bridesmaids can feel comfortable on the day and have something that fits perfectly to their size.

The spotty tulle overlays add softness and make the gowns really current.
