In keeping with the ever-growing digital age, we have decided to create a hub for all of our beautiful brides and suppliers to network, bond and generally ask those burning questions. Unlike a traditional fair which is typically focussed on showcasing suppliers, our online community is geared towards helping you plan your wedding, offering advice and guidance where required. In the group you can cherry pick what you do and don’t need, there will be a library of resources for you to access from printables, checklists, planners, everything you need to plan a wedding will now be at your fingertips – how exciting!
We know that brides are super busy and it’s not always possible to spend time at wedding fairs every weekend, and after going to work all week most people tend to want the weekends for family time or just generally winding down. So with this in mind, we’ve decided to bring the wedding fair to you – a whole new format and concept for busy couples, in the form of a Facebook group.
We’ll keep you up to date with new trends, provide you with our trusty hints and tips and most importantly create a reliable platform for you to liaise with the best suppliers in the local area – all of this free of charge! We feel it’s extremely important to bring you the highest quality suppliers, so we will be hand picking our favourite, most trustworthy businesses to represent each category involved in planning a wedding.
Another one of our aims is to bring the local bridal community together through friendship and advice from one bride to another. Sometimes all you need is to hear that someone else is sharing similar problems, and together it’s always possible to find a solution or even just feel better about the fact that sometimes there isn’t a solution and that’s okay. With everything you could possibly need in one digital space, this will undoubtedly cut out the middle man of searching far and wide for all of those wedding must have’s – bringing you the best quality suppliers from the comfort of your own home.
Picture this, it’s Friday night, you’ve had a hard week at work, you’re thinking ‘I really must venture out tomorrow to that wedding fair because so much needs to be decided in such little time’ but no… wait… you pick up the iPad, and just like magic, all of your wedding needs in one place, glass of wine in hand, no stress.
Don’t get us wrong, we’re still pro-wedding fair and feel the concept is still there and we will ourselves continue to host events. However, we know we have so many diverse brides with different lifestyles and a range of different needs, so we felt it was time to cater to those who perhaps might not get what they want from a traditional fair.
We know better than anyone that there’s nothing more overwhelming than picking the iPad up and searching for suppliers one by one, because let’s be honest there’s so much choice on the world wide web. This is why we want to bring you everything you need in one trusted community of renowned companies that we have selected with great care.
In addition to all of this, we will also be doing regular giveaways and competitions, every week until we officially launch at the end of March, the first one being a coffee on us!
