The Little White Book
TipiChic are based near Darlington, County Durham where from their base they cover the local area including all of the North East, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and Northumberland. Please ask us to quote if you wish us to travel further afield,
The Stratus 72 is a beautiful, strong, completely waterproof and versatile structure. The Tipi is constructed of natural canvas and wooden poles, Whether you want to bring the outside in, enjoying the long, hot days of summer with open sides and a glass of Pimms, or cosy up with warm furs and open fires on a snowy winters evening, our tipis are all season structures designed to stand up to the unpredictable British weather!
It’s the unique flexibility of the Giant Hat that makes it an inspiring choice for all types and sizes of event. Solid wooden poles and a light tan-coloured canvas produce a natural ambience that’s really like nothing else. Dress it up, or keep it simple, either way you can be sure to create an exciting alternative to a “white box” marquee.
Pitched on its own with “sides down” it looks like a conventional tipi; with “sides up” it resembles a giant witch’s hat. And it’s this ability to raise the sides that also makes it possible to link the tipis to each other, creating a single larger space. All manner of configurations are possible, and there’s no limit to the number of tents that can be linked together and the number of guests that would be welcome inside.
Catering tents can also be supplied if required.
