Plan your dates for sending your invitation – Ideally, your invitations need to be sent out 6 to 8 weeks before your reception venue requires final numbers. Remember to include RSVP information on your invitation.
Count your households – You don’t need an invitation per guest; check your guest list for couples and families.

Check your proofs – Before your invitation order is printed, your stationer will send you a proof. Pay special attention to details such as date and time.
Check postage – Check with the post office the size and weight of your invitations before sending.

Don’t forget your Day Stationery – Consider a suite of day stationery to match your invitations. These can include place cards, table numbers, menus and seating plans.
