In the not too distant past, usual form would be to offer a glass of sherry for the ladies and whisky for the chaps – these days, though, Bucks Fizz tends to be the tipple of choice to welcome everyone to the wedding.

So, where to start?
“Believe it or not Bucks Fizz is still exceptionally popular as it caters for the majority of guests requirements,” says Richard, of arrival drinks.
“Here at Grinkle we have four packages starting from £20.95 and rising to £28.95 – all four packages consist of arrival reception drinks, wine with the wedding breakfast and that all important fizz for toasting the bride groom. Prices vary to reflect the content, but rest assured there is a package that suits most requirements and even more importantly most budgets.
“Every wedding is different and every wedding is unique to each bride and groom and so wherever possible we will always endeavour to create the drinks packages for each and every bride and groom’s requirements.”
For a toast tipple, you can’t beat a refreshing glass of Prosecco, says Richard.  And for brides and grooms looking for something a little bit different to serve?  Grinkle has the answer, whatever the season.

“The team’s favourites are: wintertime – hot mulled wine infused with cinnamon and nutmeg; springtime  – pink sparkling wine; summer – Pimms No 1 fruit cup cocktail and autumn – Grinkle Park Fruit Punch.”

Grinkle’s wine cellar also has a little secret – a private stock known as ‘Richard’s stash.’ He’s remaining tight lipped about it but Kiss The Bride insiders know there are some rather splendid bottles of wine in there and occasionally, it is known for the odd bottle to appear on special occasions.
Bottoms up everyone!
