Not only do I have a magazine deadline fast approaching but this week is also the annual Maypole dance for my beautiful Holly Aged 5. The children get to dance round the Maypole set out on the Village Green, which is such a sweet and thoroughly enjoyable occasion! The girls have to wear a sprig of fresh flowers in their hair and last year I rather surpassed myself with this little creation!!
This year I am cheating ever so slightly! I have asked Holly to pick some flowers from the garden and off I am going to trot to see Grandma, who also happens to be professional florist – Flowermaiden. Check back in with us later in the week to see what we create!
