Throwback Thursday: The most iconic celebrity weddings

Join us as we take a time travel through the most iconic and famous wedding dresses of all time!
1. Mia Farrow 
When Mia Farrow married Frank Sinatra in June 1966 she  wore a neat skirt suit. Her cropped hair and the minimal tailoring mean this look still feels incredibly modern. Mia was 21 at the time and Sinatra was 50. The pair were married in 15 minutes at The Sands Hotel in Las Vegas.

2. Grace Kelly 
Grace’s wedding dress has become one of the most celebrated gowns in history. It was designed by costume designer Helen Rose, and was made from 25 yards of silk taffeta, pearls and antique rose-point lace by three-dozen seamstresses, who worked on it for six weeks. Her dress was said to be the inspiration behind the Duchess of Cambridge’s dress.

3. Princess Diana 
When Lady Diana Spencer married Charles, Prince of Wales, on 29 July 1981 at St Paul’s Cathedral she wore an ivory silk taffeta and antique lace gown, with a 25-foot  train, valued then at £9000. It became one of the most famous dresses in the world, and was considered one of the most closely guarded secrets in fashion history.

4. Bianca Jagger 
Has there ever been a celebrity wedding as effortlessly cool? Pregnant Bianca Jagger teamed her Yves Saint Laurent jacket and skirt with a veiled wide-brimmed hat when she married Mick Jagger in St Tropez, in 1971 to create the most rock n roll look ever!

5. Elizabeth Taylor 
Following the death of her third husband Mike Todd, Elizabeth Taylor married her fourth husband Eddie Fisher in 1959.  Elizabeth wore a striking green, hooded dress with long sleeves and matching silk shoes.

6. Audrey Hepburn 
Audrey Hepburn married Mel Ferrer in Switzerland on September 25, 1954. Audrey wore a tea length gown designed by French fashion designer Pierre Balmain and paired it with a floral crown of roses.

7. The Duchess of Cambridge
Kate Middleton married Prince William at Westminster Abbey in 2011. The designer was only revealed as Sarah Burton (creative director at Alexander McQueen) as Kate arrived at The Abbey. The dress featured a strapless corset overlaid with lace

8. Kate Moss 
Fashion icon Kate Moss married The Kills front man Jamie Hince in a John Galliano gown in the Cotswolds in July 2011. Her dress was a stunning sheer-bias cut gown with gold embellishment and lace veil, for the perfect boho vibe!

9. Yoko Ono 
The artist married John Lennon in Gibraltar in 1969. Yoko wore a mini-dress, knee socks, and a white felt hat. John was also matching in a white suit. Yoko’s unique style proved that being different on your big day can still look great.

10. Victoria Beckham 
When the former Spice Girl formerly married David Beckham in Dublin in 1999, she did it in style! The bride wore a  structured, ballgown-skirted Vera Wang dress. The bride’s attire was matched by David’s ivory and cream suit and their purple party reception outfits were designed by Antonio Berardi.
