Be inspired with these 5 different colour schemes for a spring wedding from yellow to pastels. The months March through to May mark the Spring season and it is such a beautiful time of year to get married in the UK. Spring signals new beginnings and as nature is really bursting into life you can really take advantage of this with seasonal flowers such as tulips and daffodils. In fact these are usually so abundant you would definitely be able to DIY your flowers at this time of year.

Of course Easter falls into spring and gives us an abundance of ideas to work with regarding colours and themes. It is also a hugely special and symbolic time for getting married, the start of the Spring season heralding new beginnings, optimism and birth is a great time to start your new journey together as a married couple. Just bear in mind that this popular holiday may come at a premium.
Spring Yellow
Yellow and blue is a beautiful colour scheme for a spring wedding. These colours are naturally evident in florals such as daffodils, tulips and hyacinth. Yellow can be a very dominant colour especially if just one shade is used, we like the way different shades of yellow are used together. It seems to diffuse the strength of the colour while still packing a pop. Too much yellow and white together can also get a bit overbearing so just take this into consideration when deciding on your colour pallette.
Yellow Bridesmaid Dresses
Yellow can be a difficult colour to pull off but if you stick with the lighter shades thinking lemon, cream and vanilla shades these more neutral colours will suit most people. If you are struggling you could pick a range of shades to suit bridesmaids individually.

Yellow Wedding Bouquets
With an abundance of spring flowers available at this time of year both daffodils, paperwhites and narcissi work really well with tulips. Muscari in shades of blue and even bluebells in May will add a pop of blue if you want to complement the yellow. Planted flowers could work really well with hyacinth bulbs grouped in planters to create pretty table centres.

Dreamy Yellow Wedding Cakes
It was really hard to find the perfect yellow wedding cake, but these two beauties really outdid everything else. I think it is a tricky colour to get right, too much yellow can be quite overpowering. I love the soft shades of yellow used in both cakes. The use of florals in the second wedding cake design is perfect for a spring wedding.
