Morning morning lovely people, as we countdown to launch the next issue of the magazine I wanted to take the time to savour some absolutely breathtaking images from a little photoshoot we did at St Oswalds Church at Newton under Roseberry, which we featured in the last issue of the magazine! Images from the lovely Gasp Photography and a beautiful behind the scenes clip from MacVean videography

The original brief was gothic glamour but in a church!! so it was important not to make this about gravestones and vampires. I turned to Katy Howieson from What katy did Next for some professional moodboard inspiration and this lady just ‘got it’ instantly!
The rich jewel colours of the Vanda Orchid bouquet from Flowermaiden worked perfectly against the Black ‘Art Couture’ Gown supplied by Truly Beautiful, complemented by the oversized bow from What Katy did next. We loved the lace metal cuffs from Jewellery By in Stokesley, it has to be my go to place for gorgeous jewellery!
What do you think of wearing black on your wedding day? Would you consider it…
The church at St Oswalds with its original norman arch provided an amazing back drop for this shoot. If traditional is more you thing we love the Benjamin Adams fishtail gown from Truly beautiful, the lace detail is stunning!
With some incredible help from a talented posse of fantastic suppliers, a stunning location and a beautiful girl we were hard pushed to make the final selection of images for the magazine.
