We are definitely predicting the demand for Kate Fearnley Bridal is going to skyrocket! Kate already a well established fashion designer made the switch to bridal this summer and I knew this was going to be the start of something very special. We asked Kate to feature her collection in this issue of Kiss the Bride magazine but in my mind I didn’t want a standard photoshoot all perfect and posed, I wanted it to have a free spirited feel that reflected her and also celebrated the amazing backdrop of North Yorkshire that is on our door step. It’s easy to overlook what is under our nose and seek riches from further afield but we have such a creative bunch of people working from the Northeast. The North Yorkshire Moors is also one of my favourite places and one I don’t get to explore often enough these days, so we started here; Michael Cartwright capturing dramatic landscapes along with the beauty of these gowns was a perfect combination.
This shoot couldn’t come together without my dream team of suppliers and a huge Thanks goes out to Michael Cartwright Photography, Natalie Pluck – yes we worked with two amazing photographers in the same day which was pretty epic. Sarah MacVean caught all the moving angles on film and she is a dream to work with. All the gowns and accessories are from Kate’s new collection –Kate Fearnley Bridal, Flowers came from Simply Flowers of Fairfield, Stockton on Tees, Laura Mac perfected the girls looks and Watkins Wright Hairdressing created the hair for the day. We borrowed a camper van from Love Dubs of Darlington and headed for the Moors.
