An idyllic hidden gem of a location for your wedding day.
Set amongst the Hummersea Cliffs with breathtaking views of the North Yorkshire Coastline, The Arches Country House is an independent, family owned and run accommodation located close to Saltburn. “We pride ourselves on our relaxed and informal atmosphere and we only offer exclusive use of our venue”.

We caught up with Yvonne and Stan Smith who were married at The Arches in April 2016 to find out why they fell in love with the venue.
“The minute we walked into the Arches we knew it was the place for our wedding, we felt so relaxed. We fell in love with the surroundings, the ambience of the place, the exposed beams, and the whole rustic look, so full of character! We chose a rustic theme. We decorated the tables with wooden logs and jars of flowers as centrepieces; fir cones for name places and the table names were wildflowers. Our Wedding cake was a cheese stack, which was decorated with fruit and wooden mice.

We chose a two-meat Carvery as our Wedding Breakfast, along with a variety of desserts. All of the staff were amazing and they took great care in catering for our guests with special dietary requirements.
Our guests could not praise the venue enough. The staff were so helpful, constantly checking everyone had what they needed. The food was outstanding and everyone loved the ambience of the place. We would highly recommend The Arches Country House, for the outstanding service they provided. Each member of staff worked so hard to make our wedding day so special. The day was amazing from start to finish. We also pre-booked all of the hotel rooms to accommodate our family and friends and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay.”
