The summer season runs Jun, July and August and most of our gardens are just coming into their own now, so if it’s British seasonal flowers you are looking for your choices are going to be at their best.
The Delphinium is a stately flower with towering spikes that is most often seen in shades of blue, purple and white, they’re perfect for adding drama and height to table centrepieces or as part of a fresh summery theme. The peak season for British-grown delphiniums is from mid-May to the end of August.
The common garden Sweet Pea make a gorgeous addition to bouquets and arrangements, available in soft pastel colours and more vibrant shades.

Peonies are big and blousy and come in all sorts of shades, they look stunning in bouquets and arrangements. Check availability with your florist as May to beginning of July is their peak season; they may be available later from overseas growers although this may be more expensive.
We love these gorgeous Gladioli, tall spikes of star shaped trumpets, a firm favourite of our British Summer Gardens, they look beautiful to add in arrangements or kept together to create impact.
